Andrea Raby

Director/Producer

Andrea Raby is a Chicago-based documentary filmmaker and producer whose films have played in festivals across the U.S. Her latest short film Strikers is supported by IF/Then Shorts and was recently featured on Short of the Week. She was a fellow of the 2019 Double Exposure Film Festival with her short film Undue Burdens. Her producing credits include podcast “Love is Not” and short documentary A Galaxy Sits in the Cracks. She is currently a co-producer on director Ruth Leitman’s in-progress documentary No One Asked You which follows activist organization Abortion Access Front.

Dakota is a freelance video editor based in Chicago specializing in documentary and commercial work.  He is excited to help craft the story of the film in order to inspire people to start a conversation around the issues facing women's right to choose. In his free time, Dakota watches hours on hours of films and is finally understanding the joy of books. His personal goal is to edit feature length documentaries, but for now he'll stick with shorts.

Sydney Bauer

Impact Producer

Sydney is a freelancer and documentary filmmaker, focusing on impact campaigns. Out of college, she interned with Kartemquin Films to begin a career as a documentary filmmaker and is now working as project manager and impact producer for documentaries, producing a podcast, and is the Events & Program Assistant for NU Kellogg's Sustainable Investing Initiative. She was a also member of the Community Leadership Corps through the Obama Foundation. The biggest goal for Sydney is to start the conversation around the issues in today's society, and use film and media to inspire progress.

Madelyn Momano is a camera/steadicam operator based out of Chicago and Detroit. She has a degree in Cinema Art and Science from Columbia College Chicago and has been working on feature, commercial and documentary work since she received her degree in 2017.

Aliya Haq

Location Sound

Aliya Haq is a Location Sound Mixer born in Dallas, TX who loves to live in the moment. After receiving her Bachelors in Cinema Arts at Columbia College Chicago this past May, her passion for documentary filmmaking has allowed her to dive into social justice issues and gain a new profound perspective. With recent collaborations on films such as Chasing Westboro, Undue Burdens, and docu-series Lady Parts Justice: In the New World Order, she hopes to continue recording sound with filmmakers who strive to inform and instill change.
