Step One: Send out your invites

Invite your pals, invite your neighbor, invite your amazing, pro-choice grandma! Write down that guest list and send out your invites. You can download invitation options here, and share with guests via text, email, or social media!

Step Two: Prep your party

Since you’re watching from home, make some reproductive justice themed snacks and drinks to set the mood for your party! Download our recipes, or grab your favorites. (We apologize in advance for the puns and lame jokes.)

Step Three: How to Watch 

Undue Burdens is available to view on the Undue Burdens website, via Vimeo. The best way to watch virtually with friends is to set up a video meeting (Zoom, Google Hangouts, Teams – whatever works for you!) Once you’re in the meeting and ready to watch, mute yourself and hit play around the same time. Then rejoin your meeting when you’ve finished the credits!

Step Four: Discuss the filM 

Check out the Undue Burdens discussion guide to talk about the past and the future of abortion access in the US, and what you can do to get involved. You can always send the discussion guide out with your invitation, or post the link in the chat of your meeting! 

Step Five: Make an action plan

Make an action plan on how you can support safe, accessible abortions near you. Need some help finding the right resources? Check out the Get Involved page on our website to find abortion funds in your area. Then use the graphics below to write out how you plan to support abortion access and share with your network.

Step Six: Tag us!

Post a photo of your party or your action plan graphics on social media and tag @undueburdens! If you tag us, we’ll get in touch and send you free Protect Abortion Access stickers for you to put on, you know, everything.
